Late Wednesday night, Antetokounmpo tweeted, “Going grocery shopping late at night may be the most relaxing thing ever haha.” Despite having millions of money in his bank account, the NBA Finals MVP still enjoys doing basic errands that most of us find tedious.
He needs a quiet location to get away from the spotlight.
Antetokounmpo isn’t a superstar at heart, so he probably enjoys late-night grocery shopping since it allows him to escape the spotlight and reclaim his humanity. He followed up his initial tweet on Wednesday night with a picture of himself at a CVS wearing a hoodie and a mask, captioned “Nobody recognizes me!!” with two smiling emojis.
