People sometimes take the thing they enjoy most for granted. This can make them unhappy because, if their favorite activities are removed or changed in some way, they may not be able to do it anymore. The question of whether happiness is relative has been debated since ancient times and each person will answer differently based on their own experiences.

The Detroit Lions were winless going into their Week 8 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles, but they were full of pride. In a shocking blowout win, Nick Sirianni’s Eagles ate up everything Detroit had left. Following the game, Fox NFL commentator Michael Strahan watched several Lions players do something that should concern fans going ahead.
After the game, Strahan didn’t mince words while addressing the concerns on the broadcast.

The poor Detroit Lions were not anticipated to win a lot of games in the 2021 season. Wins are difficult to come by for a squad with a lack of skill.
Against the 2-5 Philadelphia Eagles, the Detroit Lions put their winless streak on the line. The Lions’ schedule didn’t include many games that could be won. The Eagles, on the other hand, provided a possibility for the club to win for the first time.
Philadelphia got out to a fast start, jumping out to a 17-0 lead at halftime. The Lions were never in a position to win. The Eagles blew it out, defeating Detroit 44-6.
Dan Campbell, the head coach, takes pleasure in having a tough football squad. His players, on the other hand, did not receive the message. Following the humiliating defeat, a few Lions players spoke out.
The Athletic quoted defensive lineman Michael Brockers as saying, “The coaches can’t want it more than the players.” “We have to be more passionate about it than the coaches. Each of these athletes should look in the mirror and desire to be better for their brethren. Want to be a better employee for the company. Want to make a difference in the city of Detroit.”
Tracy Walker, a veteran safety, also added his two cents. “We ain’t going to win a game if we don’t repair it, if we keep having the same issues,” he remarked.
After the Lions’ defeat, Michael Strahan chastised them for switching uniforms.

The Eagles’ offense and Jalen Hurts had a field day against the Lions’ defense. It also didn’t require much work.
On the ground, Philadelphia thrashed Detroit, gaining 234 yards and four touchdowns. The traveling team also controlled the fight for possession time.
Some Lions players exchanged pleasantries with Eagles players after the game. Others chose to switch jerseys with the opposition.
Michael Strahan, co-host of Good Morning America, was not impressed with the Lions players’ demeanor after such a humiliating defeat.
“You’ve got a big bunch of guys on the field in the end zone, and they’re switching jerseys and taking photographs,” Strahan told Lions Wire.
“I was not pleased with my defeat. Who enjoys losing? It makes no difference to me. That is something you should never do. Make it happen on the bus. It’s not a good idea to do it on the pitch where you’ve just been thrashed 44-6. I’m in the locker room as a coach, waiting for my guys to come in and address the team, and you’re waiting to swap jerseys with another player on the team that just whipped you?”
“It’s like it doesn’t bother them [to lose],” Terry Bradshaw said, adding fuel to the flames. The athletes who were posing for photos didn’t appear to bother.
For the first time in 2021, Dan Campbell’s team did not put up a fight.
Dan Campbell is one of the few coaches you’ll ever hear accept full responsibility for a game. It’ll take a few of seasons for him to reverse the damage, but the players will respect him.

Dan Campbell looks to be the best candidate for the head coaching post in Detroit. In the Week 8 loss, it didn’t seem that way.
During the 2021 season, the Lions had previously battled tooth and nail in every game. Against the Eagles, that team failed to show up on their own ground.
Campbell, a former NFL player, took over a squad that was failing in terms of talent. Jared Goff isn’t a starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. On defense, there aren’t many well-known names. The list could go on and on.
The Lions have been competitive until their most recent performance, despite their lack of top quality. Campbell isn’t exempt because he didn’t coach a very good game. The players, on the other hand, did not help the head coach.
The incentive for NFL players to go out and play hard from start to finish should be self-evident. With his remarks, Michael Strahan nailed the nail on the head. Strahan understands what it takes to win as a Hall of Famer, seven-time Pro Bowler, and Super Bowl winner.
The Lions of Detroit have yet to figure it out. Dan Campbell, who is renowned for his toughness, will not be pleased with the players’ actions after a humiliating defeat.
The Lions may not win a game this season unless they rediscover their winning mindset.
